Another show with little plot development. This is what I call a One Pic Post or an OPP. A single picture can summarize the entire episode. Often times, at least with a show like this, it can summarize the entire tone of the entire series, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Quick Summary
The entire gang is hiding out at the nurse’s friend’s house. The girls at the beginning of the episode are taking a bath together and some of them apparently had a few drinks. Rei and Marikawa (the nurse) had a bunch of drinks and both glomp Hirano and Takashi, they both enjoy their physical contact time. Eventually, the police get an all clear to use any means necessary to stop the zombies and keep control of the situation, so they start shooting rioters and using bulldozers. At the end of the episode, we see Takashi get angry with Rei over brining up Hisashi all the time, and she starts to grope.

Even if this show is known for the huge amount of fan service, something like this probably would happen if a bunch of teenagers managed to survive for more than a day with an unequal amount of boys and girls – especially those boys and girls with an established relationship history. Perhaps that one realistic thing, that “it’s the end of the world, so let’s get it on” occurrence, is the only real value of this show.
I was bored the other day, so I was checking out my options. Since I just had to watch something, I decided to try out Asobi ni Iku yo. Well, that plan didn’t work out.
At first, there was some kind of ship on some kind of ocean, and there was a mecha-suit for some girl to beat up all of the people on the ship. She eventually made her way to the head of ship, where she met the alleged captain, who had a bomb. She pleaded but failed and the ship exploded. And then the show starts turning sour. Suddenly, there is a cat girl, who is not proportioned for earth gravity – yes, she’s an alien. Somehow, the guy who mets the girl faints, and he winds up in bed, with her, sleeping next to him. His uncle apparently hold her to sleep “where ever”. The guy’s best friend, asks him about it. And then the teacher comes in and starts on some, “You’re too young!” and the story ends there. Because I closed the window. And dropped it.
I was at 15:01 and I closed it, seriously. It’s not coming back. It was terrible.
I discovered this post, describing almost perfectly about how I feel it. Although I disagree about the Angel Beats part, I actually enjoyed Angel Beats.
I like this show a lot – it has no point. Therefore, this should be a short post because there is no need to describe what happened, since nothing did.
An example of: No Point No Plot
Last season, there was this cat show. I can’t even remember the name since I dropped it on episode six. The point is though, they did something very similar in one episode – there was an alternative world with the same characters riding around in GUNDAMs. That’s always eye catching, but it’s pointless.

Eventually the sillyness ends with the strange intro and gundam scenes, only to find ourselves watching a TV being watched by Suzu and perhaps her sister.
Who are these 'rules' for exactly?
They have a new rule every episode but I don’t understand who they are for. They can’t really be for the girls because Shino breaks them every time.

The ghost of the haunted bathroom/hallway is none other than the student counsel’s advisor. Shino and Aria quickly snatch the confiscated magazine from her and start reading it intently. So much for that blind eye.
She's one of the knights that say 'nii'
Tsuda’s sister isn’t very well developed, but we know she has the same mind as Shino and the rest of the crazy people at that school. She’ll fit right in next year, when she attends. Anyway, like another anime I watch, the sister in this show insists on the Nii part and while cute for a moment, becomes incredibly annoying.
Too bad shark week ended already...
I had nothing to say for that one.
Finally
This show doesn’t need impressions. There’s no development, nor plot, nor point. Well, Madoka apparently likes Tsuda because she keeps talking to her Judo club about him. I think that’s it. The entire episode, only one legitimate fact was obtained. This show is for laughs, so that’s fine.
As a continuation episode, Usui and Misaki engage in a life-or-death struggle to save Maid Latte from being bought out. Usui and Misaki are teamed up now because their normal partners have been disqualified. The second round of the Butler auditions is setting a table to present to official butlers for judging. Misaki wants to use the bathroom but has a hard time because there is a guy coming by. She returns to find out they have moved on to the next round of actually being a butler for a few judges. Usui manages to get them the last entry spot in that round – then her high school friend, Yukimura comes over and she tumbles backwards. Usui being the lover he is heroically falls under Misaki to save her, but he severely hurts his arms. During the butler trial, Usui doesn’t do much physical labor as Misaki won’t let him. So instead, he plays the violin beautifully. Miskai eventually thinks that he has had enough and quits. That’s about it. Now, on with those pictures.

Mr. Nott Usui was an amazing edition to this episode and it appears he makes a minor appearance in the next episode as well. Yukimura’s gullibility is amazing.

When Misaki fell in fear, Usui jumped in to rescue her hurting himself.
The sweat gave it away
Usui decides to play the violin instead doing actual work, but the violin requires arms too. Couldn’t he do an small Opera or something? No arms.
Later, Misaki goes to meet Usui where ever he lives, which is apparently an apartment. It feels like I knew that already though.
Did he name the cat, 'Misaki?'Imagine if her sister was doing the cooking - watermelons.
Finally, the best picture by far. He'd wrap his arms around you, but he can't right now.

This was a decent episode. We saw how committed Usui was to protecting Misaki. We also saw how much she has developed. She wouldn’t have accepted his help in the beginning and she wouldn’t even have trusted him. Now, she let him try to work even after being injured. She’s progressing well. The final scene was the most characterizing. Usui leads a barren life, he has little furniture, little paper work and just about nothing. He has a cat though, the one he picked up a while ago. He also ran out of the hospital. Maybe he hoped Misaki would come to see him if he did that, or he’s terrified of needles. Eventually, Misaki said she was trying to return all of the favors he gave her, but that’s it not working. Usui replies that he’s been giving something by her. We’ll have to see how that develops.

On a different system this time, let’s see how that makes this post turn out.
Geoffry Peterson's 'Now that's proper suction'
We start out with Ringo needlessly vacuuming a wood floor, and with Ryoko leaving to go to the gym. In this episode, there is much needed back-story. Let’s start out with that.
Ryoshi is depressed, it seems because he is sitting on a hill, near a bridge. He was wondering about the guy from the last episode, the one with the crazy Shiki spiky white hair. He’s concerned about what past Ryoko and the white-haired guy have together, and decides to ask Ringo about it at a nearby restaurant.
If Ryoko didn't know better, she'd think something was fishy...
Ringo explains to Ryoshi, “You’re not ready yet, because she’s not ready to tell you yet.” He needs to allow Ryoko to tell him her past, because it was so truamatic for her, although it didn’t take Ringo nearly as long to earn that incredible trust. Of course Ryoko likes cute things so it was easy to adapt to Ringo.
Ringo returns home, well, to her dorm room. She’s recollecting the memories of middle school when she first met Ryoko by looking at a scrap book. Her memories narrate the first confrontation with the deadly wolf – asleep. Ringo walked into to Ryoko’s dorm room and thought no one was there and almost stumbled over a book with less than 200 pages. She noticed that Ryoko was indeed, there, but sleeping. She was in fact so out of it, because of her cold that she was mumbling in her sleep. I’m pretty sure the phrase was, “someone believe me.”

Ringo proceeded to watch over Ryoko until she woke up, becoming obsessed with her mystery, her allure, and most likely, her body. After becoming on friends on a first name basis, Ryoko is followed by Ringo everywhere and all the time. The second part to the memory was when a middle school kid, presumably, was being beaten up by some, presumably, high school kids. She couldn’t let it go, so Ryoko quickly dashed off into a 3-vs-1 battle, when the three were in fact twice her size at least. Ringo saved Ryoko from being beaten too by fake-calling the police.
After this, in a small children’s park, Ringo is washing up her puppy Ryoko. Ryoko doesn’t understand why Ringo is still doing this and Ringo responds with what she overheard Ryoko whisper earlier. Ryoko is shocked that someone else knew those words, and denies it.

Ringo stops Ryoko’s denial by telling her that she’s afraid of betrayal and that she won’t ever betray her. Of course, unless it’s to suggest Ryoko is girly, in that case she’ll do it.

Well, I can honestly say that I hate recap posts, summery posts, or whatever you call whatever the stuff above was. I’d much rather give my impressions off. So that won’t happen again.
Moving along – I think this episode was excellent. It told us somethings about Ryoko and Ringo that we didn’t know yet. Things like Ringo is obsessed with Ryoko because they have similar problems. Ryoshi’s screen time made the atmosphere weaker, I think. He didn’t contribute to the overall story, but his view on how Ryoko was open to Ringo was nice to see. Overall, this was good.
It’s like I’ve written this post before – I have. I wrote this post to test out my theme and tinker with the screencap system. But don’t worry, the post doesn’t have any major flaws, except, well, being the first real write up I’ve ever done.
Kaoru seriously turned it up this episode. Junichi is the kinky one, we all knew that when he was with Haruka. But Haruka never knowingly pushed Junichi towards anything, at least not until late in the game. Kaoru did though, she thought about it a lot. I’m still figuring things out here, but I’ll try my hand first.
Thinking about it, out of all the blogs I’ve ever had, I’ve never had one that I wanted to write for myself. That’s what this is: a destination for me to spew some ill-thought out opinions about anime that I do in fact enjoy watching. It’s not about work – I mean, it’ll be work to write this stuff, to take the screencaps, to think of witty jokes, but hey, that’s fun. I think.
Honestly, I’ve been watching anime for years, but I had only started reading anime blogs like THAT and Sea Slugs recently. In fact, they inspired me to do this, in a way. I love reading the snide remarks on the images pretty much all of the bloggers at THAT and Sea Slugs do. It’s bound to come up, but I don’t know if prefer editorial over episodic, but probably which ever gets me more laughs.
The initial commit is a source control term, where you submit your code to the system for safe keeping – basically, it’s where all things start. That’s exactly what this post is, a fresh start.
